I am going to plan a travel with my area of study. Firstly, I would like go to “Fallingwater”, which located in the Laurel Highlands of the Allegheny Mountains. This is a house designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright in 1935. From follow picture, you can see the house over a waterfall in the forest. I would like to visit “Fallingwater”, because the perfect combination of environment and interior.

Secondly, my destination is “Bruder Klaus Field Chapel”. The chapel was designed by Peter Zumthor who is my favourite architect. He did not have many production, while every his works are wonderful. I am interest in the methods of construction. Beginning with The frame made of tree trunks. And then, the frame of wood was covered layers of concrete. finally, the wooden frame was set on fire, leaving behind the charred walls. I feel that the process is kind of rebirth. People also want to acquire rebirth in the chapel.

My third destination is Jubilee Church in Rome. I have made a model of Jubilee Church when I was in university. This is a complex model and the model took me a long time. I would like to visit the real Jubilee Church in Rome. The three curved wall is most wonderful. I feel the sense of rythm from the layerings.

Last week, when we came to V&A museum at 11:00 am. So I and eight classmates had lunch first. we walk about 6 mins finding a Italian restaurant. The name of the restaurant is “Orsini Ristorante” The decorate was very warmth in the restaurant. I ordered a plate of tomato spaghetti and a cup of cola with ice. The taste of tomato spaghetti was nice ,but it’s just a little acid.

After, we came back the V&A museum. I visited theatre and performance galleries. there are lots of costumes of different ages. A pair of high-heeled dance shoes caught my eyes. he pair of high-heeled dance shoes was designed for a man. He is Prince (1985-2016). He is one of the world’s best-selling musical artists of all time. I like the exhibition because it breaks traditional view and challenging traditional notions of manliness. The pair of shoes’ tall is 5.2 foot. I feel that stand at such tall dance shoes on the stage to be an unimaginable affair at the time. If I do not saw the introduction, It’s hard for me to recognize the pair of shoes belonging to man’s shoes.

Two hours later, we went to Serpentine gallery . The gallery was in a park. We visit there about 30mins. The gallery is not big, but there is large number of painting in the gallery. After, we got free time. I went to Oxford street with my friends. This is really a very busy and large shopping street. We entered into a shopping mall. There had many bands of clothes that I have never seen. And then, we went to the China town for dinner by subway. We choose a restaurant with cantonese food. The decorate of the restaurant is quite strange. it looks like a 19th chinese restaurant. I think its hard to find this kind of decorate’s restaurant in in China nowadays. But the taste is nice.

My group visited V&A museum last week. There are many exhibition halls in here. I sew the jewellery hall, south Africa hall and Japanese hall. We met that V&A museum celebrate the 200th anniversary Queen Victoria &prince Albert’s, so the museum displayed Queen Victoria’s stunning sapphire and diamond coronet. I feel that is sumptuous, because the coronet be covered a large number of diamonds and huge sapphire. I researched the coronet by google when I come back home. I found out there is a fascinating story behand the jewellery. The sapphire and diamond coronet was designed by Victoria’s husband. So I think that the coronet is a symbol of the love of Victoria and Albert.

I sew the second exhibition is Seibu Railways’ Manner posters. I appreciated the posters depict traditional Japanese edo-like manga in modern day situation of subway. I think that the combination of tradition and modern is more interesting and rich. Those posters show some Japanese who wear the traditional clothes to do some impolite behaviors. For example, one person occupies more space and several persons are talking loudly in the carriage. I feel that the posters point out the disturbing behaviors of contemporary passengers for other passengers.
